After Russia Suffered defeat in the 1994-1996 Chechen War, a apartment building in Moscow was blown up. The Russian President Putin declared that the Chechens were responsible even though there was never any evidence. That is when the Russians retalliation against Chechnya and Chechens began. Since then at least 150,000 Chechens have died. Out of the 150,000 who died 32,000 of them were children, these Chechen children often age 10 or even younger are being detained, tortured, raped and murdered, russian soldiers have said that even the Chechen children have sworn to kill them that is why they kill everyone. Everyone including women, children, infants, ant the elderly, and on top of that 20,000 Russian soldiers have been killed. Unlike some of my other blogs this genocide is going on as we speak. This shows that for something that started in 1999 noone has put an end to it yet or attempted to, I think this is because the Chechen genocide is not widely reported as much as it should be.
